In The Light

At Easter Camp this year as God was leading me in my preparations for the Easter Meditation, one thing that impacted me was the power of light and darkness, and relating it to our own lives. Felt very strongly that we could do a choreography to the song by DC talk of "In the LIght", something that has been developed and which I learnt while on my mission trip.

Was blessed to have Merv, Enq, Charis and Si so willing to do this, and learn it at about 1am in the morning , the last nite of easter camp where most people would be out hanging around playing games or chatting. I really appreciated their support, and their love and truly the shared convictions when I shared my heart with them. I believed God knew that they were the right people too to play the roles, as they could identify with the message. This wasn't just another thing. It was an act of worship to God. Asking them about how they felt about it is a testimony in itself for each one. That night, I saw a spirit of excellence for God, and I discovered the joys of serving with kindred spirits. Imagine experiencing God's joy at 2am in the morning after a long long tiring day....what a WOW!

It impacted more lives than I could imagine when this choreography was first done at Easter Camp, on the last session - the climax. Alot were ministered to deeply, and what's more - the choreography and lyrics spoke for itself.

Yesterday, we did it a the church service. I remember praying with them before that, and as we sat in the room, the first thing was not to practise and practise. But, their hearts was first on God and on their own personal convictions. I remember Si and Merv both said that what makes it out there is really truly being able to meditate and know this whole battle of Satan and God for our lives. I sat down with them, all of us listening and meditating prayerfully and carefully on the lyrics of the song - what impacted me then was my own life, and I realised also my own need for the Saviour.

Watch for yourself , and see their expressions - it was truly an act of personal worship. They put their whole sense into the characters....Why?? because we all realise we are in need of this Savior at those times we may have fallen or taken stock of being the king of our own lives!

May you be blessed too!

This also marked the starting point of CCiL's Creative Ministries....Thanks be to God!
