Today I was drawn to something that really shook me up , and its substance is found in the context of Scripture about salvation...
Verses to believers :
Matt 10 : 22
And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved
Matt 24 : 12-14
And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come
Rev 2 : 10
Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life
Salvation is a process :
Justification – Positional Holiness: We are saved.
Sanctification – Practical Holiness: We are being saved.
Glorification – Permanent Holiness: We will be saved.
Dallas Willard wisely wrote "Grace is not opposed to effort ; it is opposed to earning "
