Mom and Aud have left.....so its all quiet in the flat. Not quite used to being alone and doing everything for myself now that Mom has left. Sigh, the things mothers do for you - leaves you like so LOST when they leave.
Ah, well....so I have had leftovers, instant noodles, chips and a microwaved meal since they left on monday morning....super unhealthy..
Mom won't be happy. But guess she can take pride in the fact that I have been following the daily intake of my vitamins and sleeping enough :)
My studying is slow and needs to really pick up more pace. Hoping to do solid 8 hours a day at least. Just reading so many different forms of contentious complicated litigated cases is really tough. I think I am so glad I am studying UK law. It is the US cases that drive me up the wall. The laws are inconsistent, rather broad ranging and rather "showy". The difficulty is applying that to foreign litigatious issues and jurisdictional concern when deciding on obtaining evidence abroad or choosing the right forum etc.
Hmm, should I start blogging about my studies ?? Find that the more I write about it, somehow I find I am understanding it better. Haha..wow, a discovery!
I'm sure you have all heard of the second string of bombs in London. This time, it hit the area on the other side of my faculty, just 2 minutes from UCL's main courtyard - Warren Street. On top of that they cordoned off Gower Street and Euston Road etc where bus 24 from Hampstead Heath takes on route to school, chinatown, borders etc. Thankfully, no one was injured but heard this morning a man was shot 5 times at close range near Stockwell. There is talk that he was one of the bombers yesterday after 4 small scale explosions took place a 4 different locations in London.
So, well...I'm housebound again a fortnight later. No going into central london by tube especially now that the northern line is suspended.
Oh, its raining outside now. Gloomy. How inappropriate for a Friday. On the other hand, it makes staying home a much better prospect and more comfy. It makes studying all the more appealing :)
And I'm off to lunch now - this time OVEN FOOD. I'm going to have cheese and onion quiche!
