Central London has been hit with 6 bomb blasts.
With all the phone networks completely jammed up, all transport suspended and everyone within zone 1 and 2 in London keeping close watch on the news and staying indoors, I find myself writing this entry with a sense of sadness but yet relief.
Dad, this entry is especially to let you know your gals are ok. We're tried to call but no success getting through.
Out of the 6 bomb blasts, it was at 2 locations where I would have be this morning, around the exact times that the bombs went off. One of the locations is just outside the law faculty of my university, UCL on board a bus which would have nonetheless been my routine daily bus route as I make my way to the university and other was at King Cross station, where I would possibly find myself changing train lines as I make my way to Holborn to revise at the Middle Temple Library, Fleet Street area.
The first thing my mom and sis said to me today is that THANK GOD YOU OVERSLEPT!! Last night, I had told my sis of my great plans for going out this morning to get a early head start on revision....and what woke me up this morning was the rushing feet and voices of my mom and sis to wake up and get up cos there has been a bomb blast.
Really, thank you Lord for your hand of protection on me and on my family!
The Police are still on high alert and trying to clear areas....and there may be potentially more blasts.
Please keep the city and the people of this city in PRAYER in such a time where paralysis have hit its residents and visitors.
Lord, save this city!
